Elf on the Shelf Day 9

What a surprise. We had the biggest surprise this morning when we found Mario...in a kissing boothe. He was giving away kisses...hershey elf kisses. If only I had captured CJ's face when he saw him. We all got a special treat from Mario but seeing CJ's face light up was the best thing I could have asked for. Check out the pictures.

Elf on the Shelf Day 8

Mario brought CJ a surprise today. He brought him a DVD with all four Home Alone movies. CJ was so excited and we watched the first one today. Here is where Mario was sitting. Do you see the cute little note telling CJ that he has been good? CJ said that Mario is the best...too cute !

Elf on the Shelf Day7

This morning Mario made a mess on my kitchen table. Here is where CJ found Mario this morning. As if that wasn't a mess enough, Milo jumped onto the table and spead flour all over the place and then proceeded to put flour paw prints all over my floor that I had to clean...lol.

Elf on the Shelf Day 6

We had a photo op today. I have been trying to find all sorts of different ideas for Mario. I think that I might be having more fun than CJ is.

Here is the picture of where CJ gets to find Mario this morning.

And of course I had to make sure that I left the Certificate of Health from the North Pole so that CJ would know that Mario is so much better.

Elf on the Shelf Day 5

Mario showed up this morning with the letter from Santa stating that he was not feeling well and the instructions to make him all better. He had Magical Recovery Dust that CJ had to sprinkle over him to make him all better. Let's see if it does the trick and Mario is back to his old self again.

Elf Emergency

We had an Elf emergency. We have reason to believe that CJ touched his Elf. Do y’all know what that means? That means he gets weak and loses his magical powers and then can’t report to Santa.

Just so that we are on the same page, we are not sure that CJ touched his Elf so we have to tread lightly. So we did some research and found that there are many other families that have faced the same horror. So we looked and found one that we thought fit our situation. I got it from this wonderful blog : http://www.overthebigmoon.com/elf-on-the-shelf-magical-recovery-kit/.

We are going to leave Mario with this letter next to him tomorrow morning.

CJ will get to sprinkle some magic dust on Mario and hope that does the trick. Check out my version of the magic dust using Over The Big Moon’s printable. I love how it came out.

And then the next day Mario can be back to his old self with this note from Santa.

I love the Magic of Christmas. People around me are starting to question my sanity. When it comes to Christmas, magic is all around me. I am a little kid at heart.

Elf on the Shelf Day 4

Apparently Mario wanted to make his own tree this morning. CJ awoke to find Mario at the top of a can tree that he must have had fun building while we were all sleeping. Mario is always up to something.
